This page includes links to both general Christian news sources as well as those covering the Anglican Communion specifically. If you are looking for secular news sources, see my News page.
A) Anglican News
Find both official and unofficial news sources. It's usually easier to find out what's "really" going on from the unofficial sources.
These sources generally are put out by advocacy groups of some kind within the Church. Although this news can be presented in an editorial fashion, it is often very current and gets behind the "official" church line.
a) Orthodox and Conservative Sources
TitusOneNine
- Diocese of South Carolina Canon Theologian Kendall Harmon's blog is the best
place to go for Anglican news and commentary. This blog is well respected
by conservatives and liberals alike. It is the gold standard for Anglican
blog. Until May 2007, the blog was located here.
There was a backup blog
site for when the old site crashed due to heavy traffic, but I am not sure
if it is still in use.

and often controversial and provocative Anglican
journalist.
The Kew
Continuum - by Richard Kew, not current enough to qualify as a "news"
blog but provides some excellent, thoughtful background
information critical to understanding what is happening in the Church today and
what it bodes for the future.
BabyBlueOnline
- blog from Mary Ailes of Truro Church in Virginia.
Confessions
of a Carioca - Dan Martins' blog from the Diocese of San Joaquin. Not
usually a breaking news kind of blog, but often with wise, moderate postings.

England Newspaper - is the evangelical newspaper from the Church of England.

excellent Anglican commentary.

liberal TEC perspective.

Anglicans - Well respected moderately liberal blog from England.
Provides more news links then commentary.
The Church Times
